our alley way

buddist temple

The good thing about this freezing season is that I get to stay close to home, cook many home-made meals, and have long conversations with friends and family at the dinner table. I think we did well this winter.

As much as I love that part of this season, I'm ready for spring now. It's a great feeling to see the days getting longer and longer everyday, isn't it?

thank you so much for your comment on my site, May, that was very sweet of you. we let her take the lead on when she was ready to transition to her room- and it was just seamless. she is such an amazing, brave, beautiful and spirited girl- we are incredibly blessed.

i am marking your site so that i can follow you and get to know you :) i love your dog, of course. our bulldog ransom is fighting lymphoma (he is 7 years old) and is my best friend. i will have to read more of your site to learn more about your dog!

I am more than ready for winter! I love those cosy times you speak of. Your photos are wonderful, snow always seems magical to me because we don't get it here. Hope you enjoy your spring time :)
