Believe it or not, all your wonderful wishes on the last post have come true! I signed a new apartment lease this week. It's not one in a charming masonry house that's got large bay windows and high ceilings, but a small one bedroom unit in a 60s apartment building. I love it a lot, because of its openness and east facing windows. I will also have my own balcony. Finally, a place to grow things.

That brings us to the next good news, the weather has been getting a bit warmer these days, although the rain and wind are still lingering. While the sun was out, I pulled out some seeds for sowing. I also had a little helper. You see? He was pretty good at guarding the seeds! We planted a variety of seeds, mostly of tomatoes, sweet peppers and mixed lettuce. Do you have any tips on balcony gardening? I like the look of this and this.

weekend update

The weather is finally getting warm, so i've been all over the place this weekend: Luminato Festival, gaint yard sale and taking care of some dying pot plants. Oh! and home made brunch of course!

I realized that I've been only posting about weekends lately..but i promise to post up some film photos during the following week!
